Terms of use

These terms govern the use of the site and the waitlist. They do not apply to the future Altaïr AI service, which will have its own terms and conditions.

Article 1. Purpose and publisher

These terms govern access to the altair.education website and registration on the Altaïr AI waitlist. The site is published by Altaïr Education (contact details in the legal notice). By browsing the site or signing up, you accept these terms.

Article 2. Access to the site

The site is accessible free of charge. Connection costs (equipment, internet access) are your responsibility. We may suspend or modify access to the site, in particular for maintenance, without notice or compensation.

Article 3. Who can sign up

Registration is restricted to adults who are parents or legal guardians of one or more children, and to high-school students aged 15 and over. Minors under 15 must not fill in the form. You agree to provide a valid email address that belongs to you, as well as accurate information. Each email address can only be registered once.

Article 4. Nature of registration

Registration is free and involves no purchase commitment. It does not create any right of access to Altaïr AI, to the beta or to any particular price. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in our emails or by writing to contact@altair.education

Article 5. Beta, pilot families and referral

Only people who chose the beta (“beta” or “both”) may be selected. Pilot families are selected by Altaïr Education according to criteria it sets at its sole discretion (for example, diversity of age groups). Those selected will be offered specific terms of participation, to be accepted separately. Altaïr Education is not required to justify a refusal.

Referral. While the programme is open, a personal link is assigned to you once you confirm your email address. Each person who signs up through your link and confirms their email address is counted for you. Referring may improve your chances of being selected among the pilot families, but never guarantees them: a place in the beta, like any “early adopter” pricing, is neither assured nor acquired by referral alone. It entitles you to no payment or financial reward. Share your link only with people you know, who remain free to sign up; never enter other people's email addresses on their behalf and do not multiply sign-ups. Altaïr Education may disregard artificial sign-ups (self-referral, several addresses of the same person) and may change, limit or end the programme at any time.

Article 6. Proper use of the form

The following are prohibited: fictitious or multiple registrations, the use of bots or automated processes, and any misleading presentation of Altaïr AI. In the event of fraud, we may cancel the registrations concerned and exclude the registrant.

Article 7. Information presented on the site

Altaïr AI is under development. The descriptions, features, timelines, languages and prices presented are for information only and may change, without any contractual commitment. The content of the site does not constitute educational, medical, psychological or legal advice. Each family is responsible for complying with the education and school attendance obligations applicable in its country.

Article 8. Intellectual property

The content of the site is protected (see the legal notice). Any reproduction or reuse without written authorization is prohibited, except for sharing the link to the site.

Article 9. Confidentiality of the project

Any non-public information we may share with you (for example, as part of the beta) is confidential and must not be disclosed without written consent.

Article 10. Liability

We use reasonable means to ensure the proper functioning of the site, without guaranteeing continuous availability or the absence of errors. To the extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the site or from links to third-party websites. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot legally be excluded, in particular in the event of fraud (dol), gross negligence or personal injury.

Article 11. Personal data

Data collected via the site is processed in accordance with our Privacy policy.

Article 12. Changes to these terms

We may modify these terms. The version online on the date of your visit applies. In the event of a material change, registrants will be informed by email.

Article 13. Governing law, disputes and language

These terms are governed by French law, subject to the mandatory provisions of a consumer's country of residence. In the event of a dispute, please contact us first at contact@altair.education to seek an amicable solution. Failing that, the courts of Toulouse shall have jurisdiction, unless mandatory rules provide otherwise. The French version prevails in the event of any discrepancy with a translation.
