AltaïrLemon is an acid, baking soda is a base. So what is the red cabbage telling us?
ManonWhether a liquid is acidic or basic?

What is Altaïr?
Altaïr explains a concept when the student is meeting it for the first time, then asks questions that lead them to build their own reasoning.
The support adjusts to each student’s level, pace, difficulties and interests, based on what they actually produce.
Fonts, palettes, pace: accessibility is part of the tool from the start, to reduce obstacles to learning.
Altaïr replaces neither the teacher nor the parents. It is one more source of support at home, from elementary school through high school.
Learning modes
Depending on the moment and the need, several paths are available.
One question opens a path, one answer sparks a new thought. Step by step, the dialogue supports the reasoning until the answer is built, understood and put into one’s own words.
“What do you notice in this problem?”
Photograph an exercise or import a PDF to work directly on the document given by the teacher, without copying everything out.
Depending on the features of the version in use
The key points of a concept, summarized clearly to go over a lesson before a test.
The ideas of a chapter linked together, to see at a glance how everything fits together.
A few questions to check what has been mastered and spot what deserves another look.
Imagine, question, then come back to the concept a few days later to anchor it for the long term.

Altaïr supports the school curriculum, but not only: a student can also dive into a subject that sparks their curiosity.
Why is the night sky dark? What makes an idea sound? How does a video game work? Altaïr supports a student's curiosity, one question at a time.
Exploring a subject you love draws on reading, reasoning, math, and self-expression. What students learn for the joy of it can feed into their schoolwork.
When the drive comes from the student, effort has meaning. Curiosity builds independence and makes students want to go further, including in school subjects.
Curiosity doesn't replace knowledge:
it can make students want to acquire it.
